Borderline Protagonist_alternate design by CreatureGirl Borderline Protagonist_alternate design by CreatureGirl
What is it with me drawing her all contorted? I don't get it. Well maybe it's the character saying that it's one of their quirks.

The one thing that I had to realize is that I couldn't go easy on her design if I was going to make all the others of the infected population disgusting, horrific, revolting or just plain creepy. There's a lot more to her design than what I was able to draw here.

You could say that it's part of her design to keep a lot of quirks tucked away/not as obvious as other infectees. Most of which will come to light more towards the middle of the story. At one point she's given the choice to either agree to get a physical examination, blood, skin, hair and whatever other kind of sample that they can get from her or they can do it through autopsy if she refuses. Luckily the people hired to do this are actually considered the good guys. You don't want to know what the bad guys would do.

The hardest part is to keep just enough human features blended into the design to all just a little more creepy. More updates on her in the future.

Oh you'd know if it was the latter. Since I don't have a poo-themed account (you'd know one when you see one) it would be safe to reason another answer as to why there's a hole in her pants. I'm sure it'd help if she was in color too.

Hahaha no offense was taken. You'd know if I got in a tizzy about it. Plus, if I put my art up I should already be aware that someone may critique or in the worse case bashes a particular piece of art (its happened and kind words do more than an angry retort). I was actually expecting at least one comment on that once I had submitted it but I haven't gotten around to fixing/removing it and at this point probably won't unless I update it with color.

I appreciate the comments, both good and critique-oriented. Thanks for the compliment and for looking through my gallery. :3
